🛍️ STEP 2 — CREATE YOUR SHOPIFY STORE
Now that you've prepared your basic branding, colors, business information and website ideas, it's time to create your Shopify store.
Don't worry about making your website look pretty yet.
In this step, we're simply going to create your store and become familiar with your Shopify Admin.
GO TO SHOPIFY
Open your internet browser and go to the official Shopify website.
Click the option to start a free trial or get started.
click SKIP to start building for 3 days free, after that it will be $1 month for 3 months, then you will be required to pay for the plan you select.
Shopify's promotions, trial periods and pricing can change, so review the current offer displayed by Shopify before signing up.

Don't feel pressured to purchase extra apps, themes or services while you're setting up your store.
We're starting with the basics first.
You can always add additional features later if your business actually needs them.
Then you will be taken to this screen
8️⃣ ADD YOUR EIN & BUSINESS INFORMATION
After entering your personal information, scroll down to the section ADD PERSONAL INFORMATION to add your EIN and business details. Click INDIVIDUAL TAXPAYER IDENTIFICATION NUMBER.
If your business has an EIN (Employer Identification Number) from the IRS, check the box indicating that your business has an EIN.
Enter your EIN exactly as it appears on your IRS records.
Next, enter the additional business information Shopify requests, which may include:
Registered legal business name — Enter the legal business name associated with your EIN. Make sure the name matches your IRS records.
Business address — Enter the physical address where your business primarily operates.
Business phone number — Enter an active phone number for your business.
⚠️ IMPORTANT — SSN, ITIN & EIN ARE DIFFERENT
Your SSN or ITIN identifies you as the person connected to the account.
Your EIN identifies the business.
Having an EIN does not necessarily eliminate the requirement to provide your SSN or ITIN. Shopify may still require the account owner's personal information to verify their identity.
If you have an SSN, use your SSN when Shopify requests it.
If you have an ITIN instead of an SSN, select “Use ITIN instead” and enter your ITIN.

Take your time with this section.
Your business name, EIN and other information should match your official records. If Shopify can't verify your EIN, it may ask you for IRS documentation, such as an SS-4 Confirmation Letter, CP575 Notice or 147c Letter.
Don't guess at information just to get through the screen.
Once you've completed the information that applies to your business, click SAVE.
