💰 DON'T FORGET ABOUT PAYMENT FEES

When budgeting for your vendor order, remember that the product price and shipping cost may not be your final total.

Your China vendor will usually give you a quote that includes:

However, when it's time to actually make your payment through Alibaba or PayPal, you may see additional processing, transaction, or currency-conversion fees, depending on the payment method and transaction.

Always leave a little extra room in your budget for these fees.

For example, if your vendor quotes you $500 including shipping, don't assume $500 will necessarily be the exact amount that comes out of your account. Review the final payment screen before submitting your payment so you know exactly what you're being charged.

⚠️ Remember: Fees can vary depending on the platform, payment method, currency and transaction, so I don't recommend trying to calculate them too far in advance.

Product + Shipping + Possible Payment Fees = Your True Cost
