  5. Share your links with your audience where the program allows—social media, your website, blog, email, videos, or directly with people asking for your recommendations.
  6. When someone completes an eligible purchase or other qualifying action through your link, you may earn a commission or reward. 💵

Don't join programs just because they offer a commission. Start with companies and products you actually use, know, or would confidently recommend. Your recommendations will feel much more natural—and people are more likely to trust them.

And remember: different affiliate programs have different rules, commission rates, payment schedules, cookie/tracking periods, and eligibility requirements. Always review the current terms before promoting a company.

When sharing an affiliate link, clearly let people know that you may earn a commission if they make a purchase through your link. The FTC requires affiliate relationships to be disclosed clearly and conspicuously.
